The theory was fundamentally flimsy in that it rested entirely on the assumptions of (1) an unexpected plot point from BiowarEA, and (2) not-absolutely-terrible writing in a Mass Effect sequel.

Edited by RIP delta: 7/25/2013 7:17:09 PMwell they did previously have good writing form It completely collapsing at the end should rightly be questioned. I blame EA. Thats popular, right?

I don't particularly blame EA, I blame bad writers. BiowarEA for me is just shorthand for modern Bioware.

Well wasn't it the case that EA wanted ME3 out by the end of the financial year. There was something about the original ending being changed for time constraints imposed by EA. I do, however, completely sympathise with their position. They're a company that need to make profit after all.

The final mission definitely feels like it was hastily slapped together a la KOTOR 2, and the animations in the game are generally wonky, but I was under the impression that Jasper was just Casey Hudson's idiotic, insane attempt at writing interesting science fiction.
