Long story short, I started playing Ico HD again a few minutes ago. I haven't touched it in maybe a year, especially not since my brother's old PS3 broke down a few months back. So there I was, ready to dive back into this mysterious, ancient, foreboding, lonely castle with my vulnerable companion. I watched the cutscenes as the poor boy, Ico, was shepherded into some sort of prison 'for the good of the village', and wondered what would happen next. Then the phone rang. I wondered if I could pause the cutscene, so I pressed Start. The screen faded to black. Okay, down I go. Came back up to find the game halfway through another cutscene. -blam!-. I wish old games had features of new ones. Or at least HD remakes were retrofitted with such features.
