What do you think guys? Real or Fake?
-
wasn't there a xbox emulator already that could run any halo game?
-
Says a lot about a game when people try to fake a PC port of a 2007 game six years later. This game is -blam!-ing legendary
-
Looks fake. How often do leaked games come packaged in an actual box complete with boxart? The apparent lack of a logo for the company that would be doing the actual port seems strange too.

Edited by Bryo: 7/6/2013 6:11:29 PMFAKE Look at the box, ATi doesnt even exist anymore, and Nvidia hasnt used that logo in years. Also no mention of windows 8, but it mentions vista and 7 on the front? Dude didn't even try to make it look real, hahaha.

I don't think I've ever seen a video with that huge of a dislike to like ratio. Jesus
-
I'd say fake. The cover for the game looks really well done though, despite using the old MS gaming studios logo and putting Bungie's logo on.

Edited by o0MrCheesy0o: 7/6/2013 5:07:45 PMI don't even think it's Halo 3 being played via a mouse and keyboard adapter. It looks like a video he's pretending to control. The character's point-of-view is so stiff and linear like it's being manipulated with a game pad's joystick—not at all like mouse input. The input we see him performing doesn't always match up with the video either.

I think this is the same guy who captures all that footage of supposed alien UFOs visiting our planet. I mean, the video quality and professional camera movement just screams legit.
-
Hate to say it but its fake
-
If it's on PC he could've used any number recording programs, than a potato
-
100% fake.
-
So spurious I had to call a NY Times Best Selling Author to get a better word to describe it.

Let me introduce you xim, a device that allows you to play console games with a mouse and a keyboard. It'd be easy to fake the video with such a device. I also don't personally believe there is a PC version of Halo 3 in the works. After all, wouldn't it have made sense to announce it at E3. Assuming that picture of the cover came from the same person who posted the video, wouldn't it be odd if the game already had a cover despite not even being announced? Besides, there are so many things about that cover that make no sense. To begin with, it doesn't mention Windows 8 as a platform. Secondly, ATi doesn't exist anymore. Finally, it reads Bungie who, at this point, would obviously have nothing to do with the game. In general, everything about that cover makes me suspect that it's a mock-up made in 2008 by some fan. Not that there is no chance a PC version of Halo 3 exist. But the person who made the video isn't in possession of one, and assuming the cover is from a different person, neither are they. It's fake.

Edited by BerzerkCommando: 7/6/2013 12:00:24 PMIt's fake. 1: People make fake game covers all the time. 2: As TheSpiderChief pointed out. The cover would have 343's logo on it and not Bungie's. 3: In the menu screen you see the green A button and the red B button. 4: You can use a keyboard and mouse on the 360. You just need a hookup for it.

Terrible fake. I mean..... a drunk monkey could come up with a better fake than that.
-
Didn't that video come from 4chan?

Edited by TheSpiderChief: 7/6/2013 11:55:10 AMIf it was real wouldn't it have 343i's logo slapped on the box instead of Bungie's logo?
