I don't think it was as bad as people made it out to be. It seems to me the Mandarin twist was people's biggest beef with the movie, which I completely understand. I get they done it to have a "wtf?! I didn't see that coming!" moment, but it just didn't play out well, and left the movie with a villain we've seen dozens of times already.
In my opinion, they never done anything we've never seen in the previous Iron Man movies already. I felt with the third, they're just getting played out. I was more looking forward to CA2 & Thor 2 anyways, so I wasn't overly disappointed. Still a good enjoyably movie. I'd give it like a 7/10, but I enjoyed Star Trek Into Darkness so much more.

I had no problem with the Mandarin thing, I had a problem with it being a shitty movie.

I'VE BEEN EXPECTING YOU FELICIA A) Thor 2 looks like garbage IMO. Hopefully the movie turns out better than the trailers. B) That was pretty much the same reaction I had the first time I saw it.
I'VE BEEN EXPECTING YOU FELICIA
..Really?
A) Thor 2 looks like garbage IMO. Hopefully the movie turns out better than the trailers.
Yeah, but IR3 looked amazing in the trailers. I just want something new and refreshing, I believe (well, hope) Thor 2 will offer that.
Really?
Yeah, aren't you the resident Marvel fangirl of the Flood?
Yeah, but IR3 looked amazing in the trailers.
A fair point.

Well, I consider a... erm fanperson, to be someone who defends a certain franchise to the end, they can see no wrong in it. Also, I'm probably the only female member to really take interest in anything comic book related. I like the Marvel movies, and I'm a fan of their comics. I prefer Marvel over DC, but I don't think I "fanboy" or "fangirl" over it. They both have their flaws. I've enjoyed the TDK trilogy as much as I enjoyed the MCU movies, but for different reasons.

I see, sorry for the mixup (word of mouth can be pretty off sometimes...)
Also, I'm probably the only female member to really take interest in anything comic book related.
... I can confirm this isn't true.

Edited by Felicia402: 7/1/2013 8:55:24 PMIt's fine. I do really like Marvel, and I consider myself a pretty big fan. I can easily understand why I'd be viewed that way, but it also depends on other people's definition of "fanwhatever". Why I said "probably". From my own observations, I'm one of the few female members on bnet that really talks about it frequently, which is why I probably come across as "Bnet's official Marvel Fangirl". Then again, I haven't seen nor posted on everything DC or Marvel related. I wasn't trying to appear "special" or anything of the sort. Other forums I've been on, there has plenty of females take part in comic book discussions, some which even feel more strongly about it than myself.

Oh I know. I was just saying, there's another female CB fan on here that I know.
