I have to click everything on one computer, but scrolling over another?

So, when I use my desktop, I notice that I have to click a button for more options to appear (e.g. when signing in, I have to press the sign in button, or scrolling over to Bungie, I have to click it, then to access the forums, I have to click again to pick the forum I want to go to.) Not too annoying, right? However, on my laptop, I notice that all I have to do is scroll over to a button I want to go to (e.g. If I sign in on my laptop, all I have to do is scroll over it and the drop down menu actually drops, unlike my desktop, same thing with the Bungie button, it drops down right away and if I want to go to a certain forum, I just scroll over to forums and another drop down box happens) Is there any reason why? I'm using Chrome on both my desktop and laptop, but I noticed this for quite some time. Any solutions? It's more of a convenience issue for me.

What version are you running of Chrome on both your desktop and laptop? Are they both up to date? You can check in the settings, under the 'Help' section. Also, are you running any plug-ins on your desktop chrome? A pop-up blocker may be causing the issue.
