They didn't evolve like humans.
Exactly! So why are you assuming they're mammals? Mammals with breasts essentially identical to human breasts (even though our species' breasts are unique even on our own planet so we can't get it up from looking at apes)?
And then there's my "their kids couldn't use the breasts due to their mandible-faces" point. And then there's the curious lack of male nipples. All male mammals have nipples. All of them. It's just how breasts work. Everyone gets them, the females just get them filled up. It's just easier from an evolutionary perspective.

Thank you, finally someone on this damn forum who sees things the way I do.

The possibilities could be endless good sir. I am not going into a tangent to explain their evolution. I draw them both with and without breasts. Please calm yourself before you bust a nerve.

Edited by die wily: 6/11/2013 12:55:52 AMThis shouldn't be an issue. There are far more non-breasted creatures than breasted-creatures, and there's no real solid rebuttal to my arguments, so you shouldn't be drawing *any* with breasts. You have a lot of aesthetic leeway with Elites even with the base series, so I can forgive a lack of hunchbacked squid-head stuff, but to go the route you did *and then* tack some tits on there is just silly. Really, I'm just questioning your love of Elites, because you come off as more of a lover of anthropomorphized creatures, or a "furfag" to use the colloquial term.

Edited by Sandtrap: 5/14/2014 6:02:37 PMHe goes both ways compatriot. Boobs are just a bonus thing. Alien ladies can be interesting in their own right, but rule of thumb, never turn down the boob bonus. Who doesn't like boobs in any regard? Besides, he makes seperate versions. One that you would say fits under "canonical" and the other, not so much. Take your pick. And, on that note, actually, I believe Sangheili could use boobs for their intended purpose. Call me creepy here, but I was thinking about their jaw structure a while back, and if you coupled it with boobs, it could work. Elites can spread their mandibles wide, and I imagine one as a baby with no teeth yet could do the same. Four squeezy mandibles on boobs would probably be pretty good for getting milk. The kid would have to be at a downwards angle, rather than upright like a normal human. Milk would go downwads into the waiting throat hole, and there you go.
