HALO 5 is copying Destiny!
Wow, 343 is retarded, and unoriginal. The trailer shows Master Chief in a cloak/cape.
Why the hell would Chief, in a SPARTAN suit, need a cape? His suit can't protect him from the wind and sand? LOL
This is 343 just trying to be "epic", and they're failing miserably.
The worst part is, given how Destiny has a ton of capes as well, this is just gonna have people confuse the two series, and they're gonna say Destiny is a rip off of Halo.

It looks like it doesn't it, I think maybe simply he doesn't want to be seen in his suit and possibly the sandstorms would deplete his shields and rust the armour very quickly, the cloak would prevent much damage.

Besides, you can't see his face, what if he was trying to keep his identity a secret? Is he copying batman? Hell, he's wearing armor! He might as well be copying Iron Man! People like you piss me off. Just hating on 343 because Master Chief has a blanket over his head. It's not even a cape! It's just a blanket or some sort of cloak.

The only thing we have heard about Halo 5 is that they are planning to possibly make it open world and there might be some mmo elements added(Forgot where I heard that from). Those are the only things rumored to be similar to Destiny.

Chief is obviously trying to not show off that he's an armored super soldier to everything with the cloak. Or maybe they wanted to put a cloak on the chief cause it just looks really cool and mysterious and YOLO. it is definitely not just trying to copy destiny though. Ok yes he has his armor, but all machines can malfunction if they get full of sand. If there's constant wind on whatever planet that is, blowing sand constantly all over the Chief, even high tech armor can be eroded, scratched, clogged, jammed, etc.
