HALO 5 is copying Destiny!
Wow, 343 is retarded, and unoriginal. The trailer shows Master Chief in a cloak/cape.
Why the hell would Chief, in a SPARTAN suit, need a cape? His suit can't protect him from the wind and sand? LOL
This is 343 just trying to be "epic", and they're failing miserably.
The worst part is, given how Destiny has a ton of capes as well, this is just gonna have people confuse the two series, and they're gonna say Destiny is a rip off of Halo.

The only reason I can think of Chief needing to wear a cloak would simply be to conceal his identity - This would make sense in a couple instances: it would conceal him from possible Forerunners, a well as the Sangheili, on whose planet it has been speculated the game will take place. Don't be too quick to jump to conclusions.

Um just putting this out there, there are only so many available Ideas in the world. Every genre has a basic build and mold so this means that all these FPS games are copying off old shooters from snes. Any rpg game copies off of mystic quest legend. Everything is a copy of a copy of a copy of a copy.

Technically there is no rip off of any sort at all. And I've said this beofre. Its bungie and activision working so hard here so inevitably there is going to be aspects of obviously both halo and cod. Besides that's what bungie wants is a kind of familiar feel so new gamers can pick up the controller for destiny as well as us vets. Plus not a.single person can say there aren't certain things in halo that could make other games better correct? Just saying.

How did 343i copying Destiny? Just by the a cape? Look at what Bungie did to Halo Reach; OMG they put armor ability's, sprint, and class there copying COD (armor ability's=perks). All the cape was doing was to build the hype that all and BTW Destiny copying other games for using capes so why are you mad at 343i for using it? [b]Its a cape[/b] get over it.

3 RepliesYou do realize 343 is a smaller part of bungie that broke off from bungie to ensure the survival of their greatest creation HALO, right? Also HALO was out first and the armor in destiny looks like different MJOLNIER variants, meaning destiny copied HALO if anything. You don't have to be a total fanboy because at one point you too played HALO with a passion but stopped playing because Bungie stopped making the game and almost killed one of the greatest gaming series ever. Technically speaking Destiny ripped off HALO first with power armor that looks identical to forms of the HALO armors. Plus you are retarded because literally 1/2 of all heroes ever wear/wore a(n) cape(s). We all miss Bungie back at the better gaming series they made. We miss them a lot. But we have hope in 343. At the same time, whilst we miss Bungie they are still assholes for leaving HALO behind and will not buy any games by them until they separate from activision, the same idiots who ruined gaming with the Call Of Duty franchise, and apologize for trying to end HALO prematurely and deserting us loyal fans of HALO.

what the hell? i would have never guessed that capes would be something people would complain about. Now i don't really like 343 much anymore after Halo 4 but the trailer for Halo 5 looked great. The reason why he had a cloak is so nobody knew at all who he was until the end of the trailer. Hell, i freaked out when i saw chief, i never guess it was him. So your rant is by far the stupidest and most ignorant post I've seen all month.
