No, that's like the spawn/hub, maybe we can retake a settlement, put a bunch of resources in that, have it for th nest 1/4-1/3 of the game, THEN lose it

I was talking about this with someone else in the thread. How intense would that be? He suggested something like... there's a battle we have really no chance of winning. I suggested it be like a world event and everyone is alerted via their mobile devices. We all fail and... poof, the entire world changes. That would be really intense.

I see the mobile app being used like this. Perhaps everyone would get a notification of a major event that will change an area drastically. Everyone has a week to participate, and the outcome of the event would be based on player actions. I say a week because that would be sufficient time for the majority of the player base to participate at least once.

Edited by Kickimanjaro: 6/8/2013 8:20:05 PMI had totally forgotten about how the mobile app seems to play into this. That would be intense. We could receive distress calls from a distant planet that we have yet to reach, but by the time we get there it is gone. Dude...or if when we're all out they take the city and there's no warning whatsoever.
Dude...or if when we're all out they take the city and there's no warning whatsoever.
That's a cool concept in theory but if it happened, everyone who wasn't in the game at the time would feel robbed.
