  • Guys think about it for a second how often you buy something to view from xbox live? I personally use my xbox for gaming, netflix, or watching a movie I already own. I've never rented a movie off xbox or anything. Or does this patent apply to handheld copies of stuff?

    • we have no idea how broad possible implementation could be. it could apply to all video services on the xbox one, or only those directly from microsoft. but this lends credibility to the theory of "the always on feature" being for kinect as a monitoring device.

      • my guess is that affects only those directly from microsoft, theres no way they have the power to extend past that. Also is there anyway to fool the Kinect? put a cover over it or have people stand in front of each other so it looks like one person?
