Is there anything that would turn you off from buying Destiny? Like subscriptions, etc.
-
Constant dlc and subscription ( subscription wont happen cuz it is a console game)
-
No turning back now, I have invested too much time already.
-
Microtransactions for ammo. Exclusivity for Xbox One.
-
You mean something other then this 'always online' bull?
-
Well I would prefer subscriptions if anything like that is required. A deal breaker would be the pay to win model. I don't mean micro-transaction specifically. I speak of the sort where you pretty much can't make it through the whole game without buying from the shop or where if someone comes in and two days into the game has a character better than what you've been working six months for. I prefer subscriptions if I have to put money in beyond initial purchase of the game. Everyone pays the same for an account, everyone is on equal footing with what is available to them. I also find that sub based games have better content updates because they don't have devs sitting around putting together yet another outfit for the cash shop. They get money by keeping people interested, new content does that rather well. Anyway, flaws with any system and all of that. Pay to win is my deal breaker.

If they made the "PVP" element another copy and paste COD shooter
-
If it was pay to win
-
The only thing I can think of would be a pay to win model. However since Destiny is not a free game I wouldn't even consider it as a possibility.
-
Deal breaker?... Simple...I get busy
-
Pay-2-Win. Even of there was a subscription fee, I'd still probably buy it. But Pay-2-Win would COMPLETELY turn me off from buying it.
-
I'll probably buy Destiny regardless, I have really high hopes for it.
-
Pay-to-win Simple as that
-
Maybe if it was pawned off to another developer and they rehashed it to be some modern military FPS game. But that's not going to happen, and I will buy Destiny.
-
The only single element that could ruin the game for me alone would be the addition of a cash-shop with a pay-to-win design. That, or a subscription requirement to play.
-
No. I'm buying this game.
-
Deal breaker.... I don't know if anything will keep me from buying this title.
-
I can't really think of one.
