I am an american but I plan on becoming a Canadian citizen as well in the next year. I would like to go to a university/college in Canada but when I asked my parents they told me that because my parents are american they do not know if they would be able to take out a loan for me to go to school in Canada and they also said I would not be able to take out a loan big enough for myself. BUT they said if I can figure out a way for it to work they would be open to the idea. Unfortunately I have little understanding of how loans work. Especially when it comes to a tough situation like this. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. thanks in advance!
