Global Warming doesn't exist, it's a natural part of Earth's Orbit.
As we all know Global Warming is a huge topic at the moment. We have also all learned that Earth orbits the Sun in an elliptical path.
There is no way humans could cause such a dramatic change in the temperature, I mean, look at the dinosaurs. They are huge, poop a lot (big poop since dinosaurs are big), and contribute to methane which would have depleted the ozone layer way back then! The only explanation for Global Warming is that we are in the period of the elliptical path where Earth is closest to the Sun. Just wait a few more years and we will pass over that part of the elliptical.

2 RepliesThe Earth does naturally shift from warm to cold and vise versa. However, that process takes thousands of years to produce any really noticeable change. The issue is that the influx of carbon emissions is actually measurable and actually matches what humans are putting out. Global Warming isn't a theory anymore.

Basically yes global warming is in part a natural cycle but it's also pretty clear that humans are accelerating the effect. If it was bull then why the hell would the scientific community agree with it? Or are you saying that it's more likely that they are ALL lying instead of being scientists?

1 ReplyThis makes less sense than the fact Earth goes through a warming period before cold-snapping to the next Ice Age. (which is most likely the beginning of what we're seeing) That combined with increased emissions of heat-trapping gases is causing our cycle to accelerate. -shrugs- Just means we'll wipe ourselves out sooner and give someone else a go.

The sun's cycles is what drives it, distance from the sun has almost nothing to do with our temperature, considering we are closer to the sun in our winter months by 3 million miles. But yes, humans probably have no significant impact.

3 Replies1. The earth does go through natural cooling and heating periods. 2. Dinosaurs already lived on a warmer earth than now. 3. Methane has nothing to do with the ozone layer. 4. Humans have both created holes in the ozone layer and released substantial amounts of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere. To say that we haven't done anything is ridiculous. 5. Most people nowadays don't believe in antropogenic global warming, but instead human accelerated global warming.
