• Why.... I have 20 people on my friend list. 100 is even too excessive.

Because people play more than one game. Let's say a person plays Gears of War, Halo, CoD and Battlefield. Everybody on their friends list is a person they play one of those games with. With a small limit of 100 they can only have so many people for each game. With Xbox Live they are constantly meeting people they enjoyed playing with, but in order to add them. They have to make the decision of deleting somebody. This is a person that regularly plays with everybody on their list. So chances are they're not going to delete anybody. With a larger list they don't have to worry about that.

  • So, why are people happy about this? I think that's excessive as shit. Even if you have 100 people on your friend list, do you REALLY talk to everyone enough to warrant them being on it?

  • Well you've got private groups, Game Battles, stuff like that It'd be even more convenient if we could categorize our friends with custom headings, 1,000 friends though, that is too much Seriously how many people would any of us actually consider friends in real life, that number is probably under 125 and I still think that's stretching it

  • 1000 still seems excessive, extending it to 200-250 would've been enough, I would assume.

  • For someone who plays a lot of custom games, I'm happy about it. I like to have different people on my list from around the world so I've always got custom games to play.
