Feelings on Fable IV?

The thought of Fable IV suddenly popped in my head today and I started to consider it. I know Peter Molyneux has left the studio, and no one has really heard much about it (rumors were going around that a Fable MMO was supposed to be on the way sometime in the future) but nothing has been talked about concretely. In fact, Lionhead studios has been extremely quiet since they finished off Fable: The Journey. I know that the franchise has slid ever since... well the first one, but with Peter "the hype machine" Molyneux off the project, and the chance of a fresh start with the
death of Theresa, and Gabriel as the new "blinded"
I feel they have been given the chance to tip the table in their favor again. I've always enjoyed the Fable games, even if III and The Journey were very disappointing in many respects, the world itself is a great fantasy setting and one I would love to see fleshed out again unconstrained from the previous story arc. Anyone else here still have faith in the world of Fable and Lionhead studios?

 • I have been a long time fan of the fable series. I loved fable 1. I thought fable 2 was solid. It had a larger world, new character customization options, a great story, and like able characters. But on the other hand the co-op feature was pretty empty, the jobs were all the same, the character looked like he was beaten with an ugly stick, and there wasn't as many spells or weapon tiers as I wanted. Fable 3 though made me cringe. The experience system sucked, there were less base spells, less character customization, the combat was too simple and not balanced, and THE STORY SUCKED ASS! Personally I care more about the story than most people do and fable 3's was garbage. Now for fable the journey, I don't think people give it enough credit. People were just upset about how linear it was and how it was for kinect. But the game itself was exactly what it was meant to be. It was meant to be a journey with only one path. No complicated world decisions or character customization. Just you playing in the shoes of Gabriel doing the only thing that could happen if things were to go the way it was meant to go. Everything that happened had to happen. There was no room for anything else. But in the end it was just a fun, good story that gave lionhead a lot of options of what to do with the franchise. Now the bloodline is over, the spire destroyed, Gabriel is the new seer, and heroes have to be made. I'm excited to see where they go from here and hope they don't mess it up.
