What is your personal attitude towards achievements? Uninterested You're pleased to get them but you would never go out of your way to do so Semi-interested You enjoy going for achievements that are appealing to you Achievement Hunter You try to obtain as many as possible without particularly strenuous effort Achievement Perfectionist You will try as hard as humanly possible to acquire every achievement in your games I've been achievement hunting for a while now. The great thing about the idea of achievements to me is that even years down the line, your accomplishments will stay with you as proof of what you did back in the day. Developers really ought to try and make more creative, fun and challenging achievements if you ask me. The VidMaster challenges for example. I think they are shining examples of what achievements should be. They brought people together, created new and exciting scenarios and provided a pretty reasonable challenge. All in one. I could go on and on but I'll leave it there. What are your thoughts?

 • I never use to care about them very much. Then, as I approached 20,000 Gamerpoints, I took note and wanted to push myself over the mark myself. Alas, my brother was buying and selling games for profit at the time, and wanted to test some that he bought; he popped in The Simpsons Game, pressed Start and got that one. I wasn't happy. Whilst the closest thing to tangibility Achievements give is numbers on a screen, it's still a reason to go back and replay a title if you enjoyed it enough the first time around.
