Well, since Halo is dead as a series now (to me, at least) I still have no reason to buy an Xbox. The 360 left a bad, bad, BAD taste in my mouth with its ad-filled and costly online experience, Red Ring of Death, obscenely loud fan noise during routine operation, and lackluster exclusives.
I've already moved to PC for the most part. Maybe I'll pick up a PS4 for Destiny, or a PS3 for cheap so I can finally enjoy some good games like InFamous, God of War 3, LittleBig Plannet, Resistance, Killzone 2 and 3 , and Journey. But outside of that see no reason to invest in a platform that's given me so much abuse.

No point in getting a ps4 for destiny, it's going to be exactly the same as the ps3 version, just a little better graphics. Might as well buy the ps3 or xbox version since the ps3 will be cheaper and you already have an xbox.

If it came down to getting the PS3 or Xbox 360 version, I'd definitely go with the PS3 version because THAT platform has free online. I haven't payed for XBL for over a year now, and I'm never giving M$ money for the piss-poor service I got there again. And I'm sure the PS4 version will have better graphics AND better gameplay. Remember Ghost Recon when it was released for PC, Xbox 360, and Xbox? The Xbox version was a JOKE compared to the other two platforms!

Whatever, your decision. BTW, the xbox 360 version is much more likely to have better graphics and performance. because 1. The xbox's architecture is much easier to develop for 2. Bungie has been working with xbox since the beginning 3. The ps3 is very foreign to them (this is the first game their making on it 4. it is much easier to create a game on the pc then port it over to the 360 than the ps3 5. the way the ps3 splits it's memory makes makes it harder for games like destiny to run on it Look at games like skyrim, blops 2, and almost everyother multiplatfrorm game. The 360 version is usually superior in both graphics and performance.

I've seen comparison videos. The multiplatform games look the same. Only very minor differences. Besides, the PS4 has a different architecture.

i'm talking about the ps3 vs 360, we all know the ps4 will slaughter both of those in performance. Watching comparison vids won't give you a full idea on performance, it's when you look at actual performance tests is wehn you see that the 360 is usually superior, because of higher frame rate, less screen tear, etc. For open, less linear games such as destiny, a game like skyrim would be a perfect example of why I feel safer getting it on xbox. Bungie has had years of experience with the xbox, while this is their first game on the ps3, i'll play it safe and just get the xbox version if your deciding between the two. The ps4 is a whole other ball game though.

Are you a programmer who can predict the future?

I said much more likely, I did not say this will happen.
