Looks like shit. I gotta buy this "mini" just to play games I already own on the Durango? Yeah, that's definitely not a cash grab...
And this didn't tell me anything about the Durango, besides one rumor. And I want to know if they're still going to charge for xbox live for the Durango. I hate that bullshit.

What does that $5 get you. Advertisement spam and the ability to chat with more than one person and play games online with others.. Hey.. all that comes with the PC.. for free. And most buy the 1 year, which is $60 all at once.. For most.. $60 can pay more important bills.. Like a cell bill or a TV service bill.

And PS3 has free online. It's literally only XBL that's not free.

Buying a console is a guarantee that you will be able to play games for years without having to worry about upgrading parts. You could get an [i]ok[/i] gaming rig for the price of a next-gen console, but you'll have to upgrade a few parts or even replace it outright before the next generation of consoles releases. And the Playstations may offer free online gaming, but their service isn't as reliable. Microsoft may charge, but they some of that money to keep the LIVE servers running strong. Yeah, it's annoying to have to see ads and stuff, but $60 a year is no big deal. Just stick aside a quarter a day and you'll have enough well before the year ends.

Actually.. my current PC rig is better than what the PS4 specs are to be. :P. I also took the liberty of getting a six core processor..which most current gen games only use up to four.. So I'm a little ahead of the game. I spoke to my cousin and even watched him play on PSN several times.. Seems exactly the same as how Xbox Live performs.. and he runs on a 1.3 download connection.. Which is even scarier than that. PS3 just really lacked in a nice Social system, which Xbox360 did well in. But that's no longer exclusive to Microsoft from what I've been seeing and hearing,

PC specs and console specs aren't really that comparable. Games for consoles are programmed to run as well on that specific hardware configuration as possible, while PC games in general are programmed to run on many many different hardware configurations. It's the reason that the current consoles are able to put out the graphics they can, while a PC with those specs wouldn't even be able to get remotely close to that. The 360 has been out for 7 years now. A gaming rig is not going to last you 7 years without some serious modifications. What I meant by the PSN not being as reliable is just that Microsoft uses it's resources to keep LIVE locked down very tightly, and keep it running. PSN is not as secure, and has more downtime (also, updating times are very long). For the most part though, it comes down to preference, and I just prefer the xbox as a whole. Plus, my friends are all xbox users as well.

They might not be much better.. but they are still looking to be better. I watched their 2 hour presentation today on the PS4 (Since I only saw bits of it when it was Live) and I must say.. They look very appealing to gamers this time around (Still wish they'd let me swap the D-Pad and joystick though, xD). It seems like they learned from their critical wrongs from PS3.. The only question that remains.. will Microsoft prove to as well? I'm still on the fence, despite how I post which sounds like I'm already on the PS4.. Because I won't even be purchasing on launch day.. I'll be leeching off others, try both of them out to make the final choice..

They most likely will charge you.. People are buying it so why stop selling gold? Courtesy doesn't go far in the market.
