Ill eventually get the Xbox simply because I don't like the PS controllers, that and I have no intention of starting a new profile from scratch.

I thought our Xbox Live profile now won't be compatible with the next Xbox Live?

It wouldn't make ANY sense for it not to transfer.

Why wouldn't it? People on 360 are using their LIVE profile from the original Xbox.
