Bungie Community,
Did we mention that Bungie.net is a work in progress? Today, some more of that work is on display. An update just went live that is bristling with enhancements for your forum-going experiences. Compared to the weekly revisions that we enjoyed during the beta phase for “Bungie.next,” this one took a little while longer to become a reality. We hope you’ll agree that the extra wait has made this helping of new code all the sweeter.
Today’s upgrade is packed with over 200 fixes, tweaks, bumps, nudges, and turbocharges. Check out the highlights:
News is easier to discover and share. If you look at the homepage and scroll down to the slider, you’ll see an instant preview of latest content the Bungie Blog on the leftest-most widget. When you drop a comment on those stories, the conversation will be mirrored automatically on the forum. This will yield better visibility when new details for Destiny emerge – or we continue to chronicle the rise of the Destiny Community to power.
Bungie.net is smoother to browse using a mobile device. The Bungie Mobile App is unchanged, but if you surf our website on the go you might detect some slight changes in navigation and layout that make the waves a little easier to ride.
Polls have returned. Let democracy reign, again. Your topics can invite an audience to select from Seven pre-determined options. If you’re asking “Why Seven?” you must be new here. Welcome!
Question threads are brand new. When you mark a Topic as a question, you can circle back later and indicate which answer you like the best. We can help you out with that process, since an answer from a Bungie employee can light the way for other lost souls.
You have bold new powers for sorting the forum. First of all, the index view for any forum has more immediate callouts of recent activity. Also, you can filter the Topics on a forum so that only the ones you’ve chosen to “Like” appear, allowing you to save your favorite conversations for later.
You can now “Like” the Comments for Topics, too. This will impact the way content is sorted within a thread. More popular Comments will rise to the top, allowing even our less vocal members to influence the consensus. And, if the consensus is less important to you than consuming every trollicious detail…
The order of Comments (and their corresponding Replies) to Topics can be sorted. Look at a thread. Find the new option in the upper-right. Select from “Popular” or “Oldest First.” You can take the temperature of the community, or you can read every single remark as they unfold. This new feature is new, and requires a little patience on your part. The site should remember your preference. Let us know if it works!
While your Private Groups remain greatly unchanged, all of these forum updates will be visible within your own clubhouses, too.
What more could you ask for? Plenty! We know. We’re listening. And we’re working on it. For now, please dive into the new toybox and keep the feedback coming.

( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Fix the game and servers stop worrying about he stupid app
-
DeeJ there was a rumour of a tablet version of the Destiny app for iPad to be released at launch, which I suspect, a rumour. Will there be one or is the standard one as far as it goes. It's great for phones but the size format is not the best layout for tablets. I actually use it more than the forum for all destiny tasks.

REGIONAL Assistant TO THE Community Manager.
-
Would be better if the Russian language added. And then as racists behave.
-
It just keeps getting better! Thx Bungie!
-
Floppy
-
Make it easier to follow someone? Instead of having to jump to the profile
-
I may be asking a bit much but will there ever be an option to re-position the boxes at the top of the website? Like how we can already re-position the taskbar on our desktop.
-
You can now “Like” the Comments for Topics, too.
There are those who said this day would never come. What are they to say now?

What happened to user titles and honorifics?
-
Polls should now be operating correctly.

Feedback Time Like the addition of comment sorting, however one major major flaw is that the continuous loading of comments at the bottom of a page will make it take forever to catch up to the recent conversation in bigger threads. I'm sure the addition of pages is already on the way as it is, but if not I'd like to point this out as an additional reason as to why we could use them. Polls are entertaining and I like entertainment. The like feature expanding to the comments section is a good start, but I noticed it doesn't publically display either a number of likes or who liked the post. Not sure if it privately displays through a notification. Either it doesn't, or it does and no one has liked anything I've posted. I'm not ruling out the answer as "Both." Anywho, the reason the like feature is a good idea is because it works as a way for someone to comment without commenting. We've all seen people quote something and say "this" or just merely reply "lol" or "Quoted for emphasis." I feel the like button works as a way to eliminate that, however without the display of who liked what, it doesn't let people know you've agreed with it and is going to (and already has) cause people to like a post, then post "Liked!" as well. Now granted, the idea sounds a bit facebooky and thats a direction people don't really want this place to head, but I think it'd be an improvement. Awesome stuff guys. Keep the updates coming. Much appreciated.

Some nice new stuff...
-
Yes! Great update!
-
This update seems to have brought back some iOS loading bugs that had slowly been fixed over the last couple of months. For example the background flickering is back and the long loading times clicking on thread links from the topics page is back.
-
At least some things are being fixed. But oldest comment first should have never left.
-
I'm with chubbz. I would like my blue hat back. On the flip side, thank you for polls!
-
I have never been a private group.
-
Where's my blue hat? Also, should add an option to save forum viewing preferences in profile.(comment sort preference, thread type preference, etc.) That way we don't have to always change it when we log on.
-
Virtually almost all of my complaints have been fixed and rectified. Thank you for listening to us. <3
-
Actually super glad that I can like a comment now and not just a thread.
-
WOO! moar changes! :D
-
This website will be so different by the time Destiny comes out.I like the changes!Keep them coming

We can see...the polls have returned with a mind of its own lol
