There's an epidemic at my school.

So over the past couple of days, a whole bunch of people at my school have caught gastroenteritis and have been sick. A few of them have had to go to the emergency room. There were a lot of empty desks in the classrooms yesterday and today. So have any bad illnesses happened to a lot of people at your school at once? How did the school deal with it?

 • Most cases of gastroenteritis that are among Primary, and Secondary educational crowds are viral. Viral gastroenteritis usually subsides within 3-5 days of first showing symptoms. Did they tell you it was norovirus or rotavirus?
