Just curious here but, how is your 'new' set of duties panning out?
I know we have the automated system now, and I just wondered if you guys spend as much time moderating around here as you did before bungie.next.
That being said, do you spend more time playing the role of a member than a moderator now? Or is it generally the same?

Edited by Duardo: 2/28/2013 12:22:22 AMI would say that I feel much more like a regular Community member than before. I believe it's due to the fact that I'm no longer an eyesore when I post anymore (here comes the jerks) and that I'm not "looking" for things as much. I hardly ban anyone anymore, except for the personal bans I dis out with my Mute tool :)

The duties aren't really different. Of course with everyone more empowered to control their on experience, the frequency of moderation activity is down some.

It's generally the same except it takes less thinking. Which is great for all the American mods.

I got a really good question to all the Ninjas here..... Are you guys still going to show more favoritism instead of consistency like you have done many many times in the past?...you know what I'm talking about! Are you guys still supporting the "Elite Force"? Cause I think this whole "make the bungie forums what you want" is total Bull S hit!
Just curious here but, how is your 'new' set of duties panning out?
Pretty much the same, watch and wait for entries into the queue, smack down on things that are clearly a violation of the new and revised rules.
I know we have the automated system now, and I just wondered if you guys spend as much time moderating around here as you did before bungie.next.
Previously, my "time moderating" was just me participating and enjoying the forums except that I had an additional role/duty/obligation to perform. I hardly ever visit the site "just to moderate". I visit the site to participate and enjoy being a part of this community. The moderation/ninja duties aren't that much of an additional effort or burden.
That being said, do you spend more time playing the role of a member than a moderator now? Or is it generally the same?
For me, and not wanting to repeat what I said above, it's pretty much the same. I've noticed that some of my colleagues appear to be posting/interacting more, but as to whether that is due to the new site, the revised rules, our modified role, or the fact that the darkness is now over? I don't know and wouldn't want to put words into their mouth.
Just curious here but, how is your 'new' set of duties panning out?
Pretty much the same as before, except I spilt bourbon on my keyboard, so I have a hard time typing things out, especially since every key now loudly clicks when I type. Oh, and both my shift keys are gone.
I know we have the automated system now, and I just wondered if you guys spend as much time moderating around here as you did before bungie.next.
I spend about the same amount of time moderating around here as I always have
none

That being said, do you spend more time playing the role of a member than a moderator now? Or is it generally the same?
I consider myself more of a God to be quite honest, this Bungie.next has really helped me realize my true potential to take control of others and manipulate them to guys, I'm gonna be quite honest actually.... I was never a mod in training. I'm so sorry.....please.....forgive me.....and, hey, could you maybe keep this between us for now? I think I might still have a chance actually, I just need a little more time. I'm sorry I lied to you though. please love me
