Would you be able to not flinch if someone was about to throw a basketball in your face? Would you be able to 'know' there's nothing to worry about?
Can people get inside your head with a little face to face trash talk? Is criticism tough to take?
Do you take advantage of it if you are mentally tough? If you aren't, do you think other people take advantage of it in you?
I should clarify. Mentally tough doesn't mean "I have no emotions", it means you're confident in yourself and your abilities, despite the circumstances. It also does not mean arrogance.
What do you think floodies?

I'm so mentally tough, I can eat emotional nails. Without any angst. Not even sure if that makes sense. But in all truth I don't have to deal with that stuff. Or at least, I'm too sleep deprived to the point of not noticing or caring. Pretty useful I suppose. But then again it also makes me look generally emotionally cold, which in reality I'm not when I'm in better social circumstances. It's pretty strange how far off either side of me is, during any sort of work in or out of classes I turn off and focus on what I'm supposed to do, in public places or when with friends I become a fully "Happy go lucky" character which is indifferent to the existence of dignity or a moral compus.
