"Ubuntu teases tablet-related announcement for February 19th"

Source (The Verge) Ubuntu website Personally, I'm kind of excited for this. This tablet will probably be around the same price as an Android tablet, but will give you the full performance of a desktop. now why do I say this? because ubuntu is open source and free, and Ubuntu is a desktop OS. So there's a lot you can do with a desktop OS in a tablet form factor. Again...I'm excited. How about you? What are your thoughts on this?

 • Is the tablet more similar to the desktop OS or the mobile OS? The reason I ask is that canonical says this:
When complete, the same Ubuntu code will deliver a mobile, tablet, desktop or TV experiences depending on the device it is installed on, or where it is docked.
but then they write the mobile OS in QML, which is absent from ubuntu's desktop OS.
