Anything not written in poetic form qualifies as prose technically, but if your teacher is after flowery language and an archaic tone, I recommend one of H.P. Lovecrafts short stories, they're entertaining and a lot of them are only three or four pages long.

I know what prose is. Thank you for the recommendation though. I'll look at it soon. It only has to be 5 minutes at most.

I'm sure you do know what prose is, I was just pointing out that you could be cheeky and read the back of cereal packet, but seeing as it has to be 5 minutes, maybe not.

5 minutes at most. 3 at least. I don't need to present it tomorrow or anything, I just need a piece to practice with.
