Games that triggered you emotionally

What games made you feel anything? At all? I'm talking about story, plot and such. Not it being to hard or someone online making you rage and you throw the controller against the wall. Mine being, I've never fully finished Slender: The eight pages, Out of the 7 times I've played it, 2 I have died with 3 pages and 5 quits after the first sight of him. That game on the link kinda gave me that "knot in throat" heartbreak feeling for a second and Borderlands 2 had a chill up my spine when.
Bloodwing dies and Angel is met.
Still haven't seen a game that made me cry, if anyone knows any that made them cry, I'd like to know which. I would gladly play a game that affected me that deep.

 • Nier. That entire game is a compilation of sad events. The setting of the game itself is that you're trying to save your daughter in a world where humanity is slowly dying out. And it just gets worse from there. Ex: In the story you meet two young boys running a weapon shop. Sad #1:
Their mother is missing, and was last seen going into an abandoned military facility to scavange parts to scrounge up a living. You go into the facility to find her, and after fighting a boss, you find her corpse.
Sad #2:
You find her corpse with another man. She didn't go in the facility to save her children; she was there to elope with the man, using the facility to escape through the mountains, forever leaving her children behind. You go back to tell the brothers simply that she died, but the older one knew what she tried to do, and keeps it hidden from the younger sibling.
Sad #3:
Skip forward a few years. You see a cutscene of the two brothers, scavenging in the facility with parts. The younger brother goes into a dangerous part of the facility, accidentally causing a collapse. The older brother rushes in to save him, but gets crushed and dies instantly in the process. The surviving brother, in a frenzied panic, tries to pull his brother out, but only succeeds in pulling dead brother's arm out of its socket.
And that's not even the worst part. Not to mention the multiple endings themselves, which, BIG SPOILER
no matter how "good" the ending is, you will ultimately damn mankind to extinction.
