I can't think of any reason why I'd want to share a Bungie thread on Facebook or Twitter, since I generally prefer to keep those aspects (anonymous and personal) separated.
Anyways, I'm interested to know if you've used them.
-
I've used it one time, and that was when the sick little boy received the Halo Reach helmet from Bungie. That was a good thread :)
-
Nope. Not once. Nor do I plan on it. The button is more of an annoyance than anything else. I mean, shoot- what kind of thread would any of you want to share on a social media site? Maybe a new trailer for Destiny or something, but that's all I can think of. Thoughts?
-
Nope, nor for any other site for that matter.
-
No need to.
-
-
lolnope. Looking at this thread, it doesn't appear that anyone else has, either. Good job Bungie. You've added features nobody uses while taking away ones that we did use (like saved threads and moderator tools in private groups).
-
If I had a facebook account I most certainly would not share Bungie.net things on in with my friends in the real world. I'm a closeted nerd, if I have anything to say about it my friends will never know the depths of my video game and internet habits.
-
nope, this is a pretty niche area of the internet and I cant imagine any of my friends finding this stuff interesting, certainly not without any context anyway. Although, I have stolen stuff from the flood and posted it on facebook, like news stories and top quality Youtubery.
-
likes are cool a lot
-
I haven't because I want to remain anonymous.
-
Nope and I never will
-
There's not a single function I've used that wasn't in the old B.net (besides notifications and Following)
-
Nah, all my "buddies" on facebook don't know english, even if they did, they are way to immature for this community
-
Nah, I don't have a Facebook or Twitter account. Besides, they probably wouldn't even work me given that I keep any background stuff like addthis blocked through RequestPolicy and NoScript.
-
I have not and I suspect that I never will.
-
I have seldom used the share feature. I'm in such a habit of pasting the link to my twitter or facebook myself. My Bungie-self and personal-self are quite intertwined on my social media outlets.
-
I don't use social media sites so no, I don't use those functions here.
-
I would share something on twitter if I didn't deactivate my account. I only used it for following bnet users anyway. But no, I'll never use it.
-
To be honest, I've always ignored those options on 99.9% of other sites I go to, and I can't see myself changing now.
-
None at all, if anything I am frustrated that it automatically opens the drop down menu upon mouse-over as I find I often accidentally do that and then wait for it to disappear (to submit my post or whatever because it covers up the "Post" button).
-
One thread on twitter.
-
I don't use facebook or twitter as I use the forums directly.
-
Me either. No one else that I know would care. But I'm sure there are some people who can find it useful.
-
I don't really think I would like to share any Bungie threads, but all those sharing options may be more useful when Destiny comes out, I guess. But maybe we could also get annoying posts on every file, screenshot (or whatever Bungie puts in Destiny) saying stuff like: "PLZ SHARE ON FACEBOOK, TWITTER, YOUTUBE, TUMBLR, REDDIT..."
-
I tried to move some threads to my Evernote in lieu of an actual "Save Thread" feature, but Evernote never seems to work with the function. So, no.
-
What happens on Bungie.net stays on Bungie.net. That, and I don't want to risk making this place worse than it already is by introducing a load of fools from Facebook.
