-snip-

-solved- Ive noticed some of the ninjas mention that the new system allows users to practically be there own moderator and filter out bad posts, cursing and other similar postings. With this in mind, what is now the role of the ninjas? Are have they been gifted the title for all to remember them for there handwork as a reward from Bungie? Sorry if there has been answered elsewhere.
With the new tools to MUTE and HIDE, everyone is effectively their own moderator. No two bungie.net users will have the same experience as they can utilize these tools to customize who they speak to and what they speak about. If someone or something offends you, get rid of it! We ninjas are still here to deal with the malicious content out there, but for the most part you'll largely be in control of your own experience.
• From my understanding, based on what they have said, the system accumulates the data we give it and decides what users have crossed the line. The moderators make the final decision if the system is correct or not. I could be wrong, but that is how I understood it.
