343i moderator permabanned me for not liking the DMR
Yes, I know Halo Waypoint is crap. But I feel like I've been wronged.
Should I just call Microsoft/343i repeatedly until I get justice? Or should I do something else?

EDIT 2: Instead of being perma banned, I now have a 3 day ban. Looks like one of the moderators mothers told him to play nice lol.
EDIT 3: Permabanned again. False alarm.

I'm banned for over 2000 years on that horrible site because of a troll thread (which really wasn't even that bad, but I don't remember what I said in it now) lol. Nuke them from orbit.

I made ridiculous troll thread on waypoint a while back where I complained about certain things in the Anniversary maps. I still can't believe I didn't get in trouble at all but other people in the thread did lol.

You were bashing the mods by calling them biased and attacking fanboys, sort of. The Ninjas here are more lenient than those at Waypoint, that's one reason we can call them names and mess around with them without getting banned, they either take it in good fun or ignore it.

If you had simply posted the topic without attacking the moderators and those who like the DMR, you would have been fine. People here need to stop moaning that 343's forum rules don't suit them.

It was the "inb4fanboys" that got you. Automatically labeling people that like the DMR and would defend H4 "fanboys" does not really leave the door open to constructive discussion.

1 ReplyIf you put any "inb4ban" in your topic you are almost guaranteed a "dishonorable discharge" on Way-point. That forum is treated like many manga/anime fan sites, they don't tolerate anything that might violate the rules and ruin positive discussion. Its why most people stopped going to Waypoint, because its a fan site for hardcore Halo fan boys and nobody else.

Not sure why this came as a surprise to you. If you come off like a jerk, you're going to get banned. But for every thread you post that gets you banned there, I can show a hundred others that present similar opinions in a more respectful and polite way and where the OP does not get banned. If Waypoint was brand new, I could understand your surprise. By now, you have nobody to blame for this ban but yourself.

But you've clearly done something pretty bad to get banned in that few bans. I've been banned over there 11ish times and still used to be one of the most active users on the site in its infancy, having the 4th-highest post count on the site at one time. I probably have some of the most bans of anyone without being perma'd. I don't like my bans, but I go about them civilly.
