What were they doing as hacks?

In Reach there was a guy who stayed airborne and sniped everyone from an unlimited clip. Never missed. Most of the CoD stuff were glitches. People got under maps and would shoot through it, you couldn't hit them. The infinite care package glitch in MW2. Getting inside objects. That type of stuff. No less aggravating than a deliberate hack though.

I hate when people with unlimited golden eggs and glitched weapons for uncapped rates of fire come into my RE5 games. I ask them to not use glitched weapons, and they luckily comply most of the time since it's a co-op game.
