The "New Thread" - How can we improve it? (genuine feedback discussion)

Lets have an actual, civil discussion about the "new thread". What I mean by the "new thread" is what you are posting in right now. The game has changed. No more is it the OP followed simply by replies in chronological order, (oldest replies to newest replies) and quotes/individual replies that move the discussion along. NOW we have the "OP", "comments", and replies, all which are "new" to Bungie.NEXT. So lets break down quickly how it works. -The OP makes a thread and is able to hashtag it (#boom) with whatever he or she likes. This OP can now be liked. -Users now, instead of "replying" to the OP now "comment" if they want to directly contribute to the thread. Comments flow from newest to oldest, so the older the "comment" is, the further down it gets pushed. -In addition to directly commenting on a thread, users can now "reply" to individual users' posts. What this means is that individual threads of discussion can spin off from one post. In order to see these, you must click the "> x replies" button to reveal replies to a certain user within the thread. That is a basic rundown of how the "New Thread" works. Obviously this is a huge change from what we know and love, but lets think of some things to recommend to Bungie. What would you, if you could, change about this new layout? How would you like to follow discussions? Would you like preferences within a thread? (i.e. whether or not you want to see oldest comments first, and vice versa) I want this thread not to resort to whining, but to be for suggestions and positive criticisms on how Bungie could best improve the "new thread" and make an overall better layout for threads on Bungie.NEXT. Go.

Pro's I like the hash tags I like the new front page I like the like and follow features Con's I'd prefer it to be set up chronologically like the old system, oldest at the top. Would like the old light on dark contrast back Also, I like the old forum set-up a bit better than it is now Group membership only allows 10 groups, little low in my opinion #feedback
