We need to talk about smarter laws for the safety of all

The United States is experiencing a serious problem. People are dying needlessly from people who either make mistakes or have no regard for the safety of others. I'm talking of course of automobile incidents. An estimated 32,788 people were killed in traffic accidents in 2010. I think we can solve this problem by instituting smarter vehicle laws on both manufacturers and owners. 1.) We set a national speed limit of twenty mph. This will limit the severity of any vehicle incidents that do occur while still giving a speed faster than a person would achieve by other conventional means. 2.) Hold vehicle manufacturers to a higher standard. Impose a national law requiring any vehicle sold in the United States to be set at the standard twenty mph limit and to not put people in debt, make manufacturers allow people to bring their vehicles in at a smooth twenty mph to have their vehicles limited. All manufacturers must follow the design of vehicles that are deemed safe to drive, such as the smart car and the Honda Accord. 3.) Replace front and rear bumpers with a substitute that will not damage a pedestrian if hit at the maximum twenty mph. Pedestrians are a concern that have been addressed. Pillows and bean bag chairs are my suggestion. 4. ban cars that have any of the following features: -Spoilers -Adjustable seats -Tinted windows -Flames painted on the side Thank you Destroys U for bringing this up. These vehicles look like racing vehicles, therefore they are racing vehicles and they're dangerous to everyone around them. I understand that some people are griping about how they're going to get to work fast, my answer is to just wake up earlier and manage your time better. If you're wondering how this is going to be paid for, there will have to be an increase of national taxes to pay for the vehicle limiting, but losing more money out of you pay check is a small price to pay for the safety of the people of the United States. Hopefully more countries in Europe and across the world will take our example and model their own laws after these.

Can't tell if satire. If satire: it makes no sense and it's stupid. If not: you make no sense and you're stupid. e: The average horse gallops at 20-30 miles per hour, fyi.
