The Holder of Candlejack In any city in any country, go to any insane asylum or halfway house you can get into. Tell the worker at the front desk you must speak with Candlejack. Should the worker say "Candlejack?", as he does not understand you, then begin to respond again but disappear mid-sentence, then you too will be kidnapped and knocked unconscious. You will wake up in what appears to be a temple of sorts. In the center of the structure there is a glowing staircase. At the top of the stairs is a large collection of rope. Take a few strands of rope, enough to be adequate for The Holder of Candlejack, but take too much and the Rope Gods WILL be angered. After taking some rope, go to the hallway at the southern end of the temple and make your way through it. You will hear the tortured, suffering screams of a thousand kidnapped children, but do not be distracted. When you finally reach the hall's end, you will encounter a man wearing a burlap sack. Even if his face is concealed, you can feel his gleaming eyes and evil smirk. Slowly and politely hand him the rope, and he will seem rather amused. Ask him solemnly, "Why do they scream?" And Candlejack, the Holder of Candlejack, will tell you in full detail his history, what he does and why, and why his captives suffer. Do not mention his name under any circumstances, or you will suffer the fates of his captives. After his story, Candlejack will give you a small, tied up child that was only recently captured and has yet to suffer. That child is object 1 of 538. What you do with the poor soul is up to you. It is your de Yes, I wrote that. It's on the first page of my thread, "Candlejack".
