Returning PSN player from blizzard era - D1 shows in DIM, but D2 account shows blank/no save data
I had an account back in probably 2018 or 2019 or something. I wanted to get back into my old games. I was able to get into my D1 save no problem on my PlayStation, but loading up D2 said it was creating a new bungie id and took me to the character creation screen, which I did not complete. Logging in on the website also showed no D2 data.
I have only ever played destiny on this psn account and my account information has never changed. Is it possible to salvage my old save data?

3 RepliesEdited by EckyThump: 11/7/2026 6:24:47 PMHey there, if you are asking about D1->D2 migration, this happened as a one-time action in 2017, a short while before Destiny 2's release. Characters had to meet certain criteria however so yours would not if you played 2018-2019. As for Blizzard's bnet launcher, players had to migrate their characters to Steam before the cutoff of December 2020. There is no way to migrate these across now. If you did migrate, it would have been to Steam, definitely not to a PSN account.
