Bungie seriously needs to communicate with their customers and rn, they really aren’t. A weekly TWAB would help build back trust and communication. We want to know what you’re working on, when things will happen, and what to expect. Not only that, but recognizing fan creations like art, movies of the week, fashion, cosplay etc.

Edited by Peloquinsoul: 10/3/2026 9:31:38 PMThings aren't going back to how they were. The only news is what they've already told us at this point so I'm not sure what purpose it would even serve.

3 RepliesJesus. Take a chill pill. Give them time. We know exactly what they are working on when it comes to Destiny, and has been the case in the past, we need to wait a bit for them to collect and give us information. The twabs that pertain to DLCs and major updates usually only come out a couple weeks to a month before the DLC actually drops.

Weekly news is great when there’s lots happening. If they don’t have much to share yet, better to stay quiet, imo. I also can’t see regular news being a thing unless live service returns. I’m not anticipating that anytime soon (if it happens at all).

They said there will be comms end of October
-
They’ve already explained that they don’t want to inform us of what’s going on until it’s actively being deployed into the game so they don’t feel like they have to meet a specific timeframe. Bungie right now is a very small team, so it’ll take a few months for the next update to release. If you look in the announcements there is a video that explains what their plans are and how they’re going about it. We just need to be patient, and thankful Sony didn’t add Destiny to it’s collection of dusty IPs.

Twabs aren't returning, you're getting dev diaries every 2-3 months. Dmg apparently tweeted about it this week. There's no one to write them & nothing to say. People need to wake up, live service is no more, they've nothing to sell you so don't have to say anything.

Right now, they are in the beginning aspects of bringing back the vaulted areas. There wouldn't be really any new information except for we are working on it. Honestly this community wouldn't be happy with that response. If Bungie is "cooking" let them cook.

Get a grip. It was just 11 days ago they announced all this. They’ve said they’ll give updates as they progress. Give them time. We don’t need anything so early on.

We're not really in that era anymore I'm personally setting my expectations on communication to zero, they're on the back burner. I imagine within a year's time they'll release some or most of the vaulted content. Then maybe sometime next year they'll show us the next project they've been cooking up And even then, I'm not really committing to those expectations. I'm going to let Bungie cook and when they have something to show, I'll be happy to take a look

We're getting an update on their plans sometime this month, most likely within the next couple of weeks. We just gotta be patient, as hard as that can be sometimes.
