Might be throwing a hail mary, as I've seen how these usually go but thought I might as well chock a post here in case there's anything. I just recently bought an xbox series X, not for D2, but I had that on my list of games to play on there. I tried to link my xbox account and am met at a screen saying I can't because it's already linked to a bungie account. My xbox account has only played Destiny 1 and has never even touched D2. I also bought the collection because I really wanted to continue my guardians on console now. Am I really at a dead end like the other posts I have seen? If so, fine, I guess I'll just start over, though I really didn't want to and would love to know if there's something I may have missed that can help out in this situation. For added context, I've played destiny 2 since it dropped and have the old light emblem, not saying that as if it's worth anything, but just really would like to have some of these exclusives on console if possible since I was unaware of the linking policy until now after seeing the news of unvalted contenting and support being put back into D2. Also my first post on here so if this is the wrong section, I apologize. Might I add if this is worth it at all, I'm not asking to unlink or delete my xboxs bungie account for data, there's 0 data there or progress. I just want to have it on this account and not start over if possible
