I've been getting , Centipede (while trying to log in) , Currant (while launching activities) , Weasel (randomly while on game) and Rabbit (trying to get in a fireteam) errors continously, every time I try to play, for almost 3 months, and I know I'm not the only one. There's already a thread on this forum from players on TIM (Italian ISP) reporting the exact same combination of errors since the beginning of 2026.
A few things that rule out "just fix your connection":
I'm on a good connection, and everything else (browsing, other online games) works fine.
I know multiple other people having my same issues, even on a gigabit wired connections (through TIM), having the identical experience.
NAT is open, UPnP is configured correctly.
This points to a routing/peering issue specifically between TIM and Bungie's servers, not a problem on individual users' networks. It would be great to get an actual acknowledgment or investigation from Bungie's network team into TIM routing, (since TIM has almost 7 million users in Italy) rather than the standard automated "check your NAT/switch to wired" replies. Love this game but due to this continuous issues the game has become almost unplayable, reducing drastically the time I spend playing destiny 2.
If you have the same issues, please let your voice be heard, it would help to consolidate reports here so it's harder to overlook.

1 ReplyEdited by Crisidelm: 9/22/2026 6:47:14 PMFix here: https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/265337497?sort=0&page=0 But beware, TIM these last few days is having problems (snicker) of bandwidth saturation, therefore you won't have a great playing experience anyway... at least not during peak hours. In that case, using a VPN is your only real solution (Proton VPN has a free plan that works fine with Destiny 2).

3 RepliesHere is the response from Bungie saying it’s not on their end & to reach out to the ISP for assistance in troubleshooting. https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/265329965/0/0 It also has another player (Crisidelm) who confirms its not a Bungie issue but a problem with the Akamai server in the region.
