1. Prismatic Warlock – “Orb Economy Monster” (4-piece preferred)
Core idea
Spam abilities, generate orbs, convert every Armor Charge interaction into healing + damage resistance, and refuse to die.
Subclass
Prismatic Warlock
• Super: Song of Flame or Nova Bomb
• Melee: Pocket Singularity or Arcane Needle
• Grenade: Bleak Watcher or Healing Grenade
• Class Ability: Empowering Rift
• Aspects: Feed the Void + Bleak Watcher (or Hellion)
• Fragments: Facet of Purpose, Facet of Protection, Facet of Courage, Facet of Dawn, Facet of Ruin
Exotic
Getaway Artist (still the highest floor choice)
or Osmiomancy Gloves if you’re fully committed to grenade uptime.
Armor
Full 4-piece Exodus Down for maximum heal + DR uptime.
(2-piece Exodus Down + 2-piece Iron Banner / Protector is acceptable if you need the secondary bonuses more.)
Key Mods
• Legs: Stacks on Stacks
• Chest: Charged Up
• Helmet: Heavy Ammo Finder + whatever Siphon matches your primary
• Arms: Impact Induction / Heavy Handed / Focusing Strike
• Class item: Powerful Attraction + Reaper (or Bomber if grenade-focused)
Weapons
Anything that feeds orbs or pairs cleanly with Devour (Sunshot, Trinity Ghoul, Hierarchy of Needs, etc.).
Why it works
Getaway Artist + Devour already makes you extremely hard to kill. The 4-piece turns the entire Armor Charge economy into continuous healing and up to 35% damage resistance every time you gain, lose, or spend charges. The 2-piece vacuum on shield break feeds Feed the Void and your fragments instantly. You stay alive through mistakes that delete other Warlocks and keep the ability loop rolling.
This is the safest, highest-uptime Warlock survivability kit in the current sandbox.
2. Prismatic / Arc Hunter – “Aggressive Survivor” (2-piece or 4-piece)
Core idea
Stay aggressive, never get punished for it, and turn shield breaks into free resources.
Subclass
Prismatic or pure Arc Hunter
• Super: Gathering Storm or Silence & Squall
• Melee: Combination Blow or Tempest Strike
• Grenade: Flashbang or Grapple
• Class Ability: Gambler’s Dodge
• Aspects: Tempest Strike + Ascension (or Stylish Executioner on Prismatic)
Exotic
Gifted Conviction (for the DR stacking)
or Liar’s Handshake / Assassin’s Cowl if you’re pure melee.
Armor
I prefer 2-piece Exodus Down + 2-piece of a strong secondary set (Iron Banner for handling/reload or a Super-focused set).
Full 4-piece is also strong if you’re leaning hard into the Armor Charge loop.
Key Mods
• Legs: Stacks on Stacks
• Chest: Charged Up
• Arms: Heavy Handed + Focusing Strike
• Class item: Powerful Attraction + Reaper
Weapons
Melee-synergy specials (1-2 Punch shotguns, etc.) or strong primary + special pairings that keep the fight close.
Why it works
Hunters die most often to chip damage and over-aggression. The 2-piece gives you free Orbs of Power and ammo the second your shields pop, immediately feeding your melee and dodge loops. The 4-piece converts every charge spend into another heal + DR window so you can keep pressing instead of retreating. Gifted Conviction or melee exotics stack on top of that resistance and the set becomes genuinely difficult to remove from the fight.
This is the set that lets aggressive Hunters actually stay in the fight instead of playing scared.
Shared notes
• You do not need six Armor Charges at all times. 3–4 is already excellent value.
• Stacks on Stacks + one Charged Up is the efficient setup. Don’t waste every mod slot chasing six charges.
• The 2-piece alone is already worth running. The 4-piece is what turns it into a true survivability engine.
• Farm Nessus Public Events while the destination is Distorted for the cleanest Tier 5 volume.
I’ve already refined both of these past the point of theorycrafting.
The rest is just execution.

Just want to add, the best way to farm for the god roll armor (in my opinion) is to do the master lost sector. Can easily be done sub 2 minutes and guarantees a tier 5 piece of armor if you get platinum. Although this method can become very mind numbing after an hour or so. But if you’re good, that’s ~30 runs in an hour. Happy farming guardians (except herm since he hates this armor set cause he’s bad at the game lol)
