Is the servers down?
I'm trying to sign in to play and it's saying the servers are down.

1 ReplyFilter Mode: Fast DNS Service Name: DNS4EU DNS Server: 86.54.11.100, 86.54.11.200 I fixed my issues today with above settings in my router. So there is cloudflare issue going on from past 2 days. My ISP default dns is cloudflare. Even changing it to Google dns did not help. Destiny 1, 2 and black ops 3 are disconnected until I applied this DNS. Tested on ps5, xbox series X and xbox one. If you have one console, just apply the manual dns in the console itself or fiddle with your router Wan. Back up first.

2 RepliesI can load the game and pick a character. When I try to launch a location I am returned to orbit. Game says check your networking. I can play all other games, this is isolated to Destiny 2.

Out here on Oahu and I cant connect at all. I get weasel, plum, or centipede before i get to character select. if i get plum it also comes with a battleeye error saying my game isnt responding. I've reinstalled destiny, reinstalled battleeye, changed install drives, changed devices AND networks (we have 2 networks and 7 desktop computers in this house so that wasnt all that difficult) and still im getting connection issues. we have a full raid team worth of people in my house that just can't play right now. its miserable.

Edited by CaptainAbyss: 9/6/2026 2:52:03 AMI am hoping the game does not crash. It already did it once yesterday while doing Vault of Glass and nearly did again while doing Crota's End for no apparent reason. IDK what it is, but there must be a bug in the servers data. Have this fixed soon!

2 RepliesA few areas along the gulf coast as well as near Florida's east coast are experiencing login issues. The comment from help either reflects they didn't even bother to check down detector, or more likely, they consider the game dead and if the networks fall apart they don't care. I'm surprised anyone is even still being paid to answer these messages. But yes, its a known issue... the "on our end" comment literally means we checked the lights on the servers to see if they were on fire and they weren't, anything more is work I'm not being paid for so -blam!- it."
