Trying to figure out why I can't access my account
As it says in my request, I haven't been on the game in a few years. Tried to redownload it earlier. And I cannot log in i'm assuming my account got banned for some reason. ( I did have to go through steam support and reaccess My account a decent while ago so i'm assuming in that time my account was used for some nefarious means ) But I have not been on my account to be able to play so I just want to at least know why my account was banned and if there's any way that I could reaccess my account

When you try to launch the game, do you get a "Not so fast" message? If you do, then yes, the account was banned. Bans are permanent and they don't tell you the reason for your ban.
