Is? And that there's no Exo Cayde without Maya Sundaresh... there's zero speculation or theoretical with that. The speculation IS that he has been the keystone of the narrative since Destiny started, that he's the first Captain of the Exodus Black... that he was able to receive the upgrades Maya wanted for the Exo... that upgrade is Quicksilver Nanites. That he healed our ghost with Quicksilver Nanites. That he's still alive.
