I’ve just started playing and everything is so exciting but I’m beyond confused about so many things. Is there someone obsessed with destiny willing to explain stuff (maybe be friends on destiny)? Hope I’m not asking for too much I just feel like a total noob (rightfully so, but it still hurts)

2 RepliesThe game has so much freedom atm and has always had a bit of a rough new player experience. My recommendation would be to go through each of the storylines that are still in the game first on normal difficulty. To the best of my knowledge that is the following 1.) The “New light” quest you get when starting the game in the cosmodrome. It ends with fighting a hive wizard boss in a cooperative mission called “the disgraced”. 2.) The Shadowkeep campaign beginning on the moon. 3.) The Beyond Light Campaign beginning on Europa. 4.) The Witch Queen Campaign beginning in savathuuns throne world 5.) The Lightfall campaign on Neomuna. This one is very difficult compared to the others so make sure to do this one on normal unless you are very confident. 6.) The Final Shape campaign in the pale heart above the tower location. This is the end of the first 11 years or so of the original Destiny story called the “light and darkness saga”. 7.) The Edge of Fate campaign on Kepler. I will apologize in advance for this one. It’s a great story with some real crazy bits of story and a fun location. But be prepared to drown in puzzles that are required in order to complete the missions. This makes this campaign a real slog. Definitely don’t do this on anything but normal unless you feel like you understand exactly how the game works by now. 8.) The Renegades campaign. Not sure exactly where this starts since the first mission is on a ship. But it eventually ends up in the lawless frontier. 9.) Ask for help on what to do next lmao. There is tons of stuff but it’s hard to know what’s very difficult and what’s approachable without knowing already.

It's a lot yes....look up an up to date time line enjoy some lore.. A lot of things will not make sense much of destiny is no longer available to play... Most of the seasonal storylines are on YouTube... Try to do things in chronological order it will make more sense that way... play the time line missions.... Do not rush... Do not be discouraged... It's a big and complicated universe... Full of good and bad... But that needs your judgment and no one else's... Eyes up guardian... Post...

3 RepliesIf you want to know about lore I'd recommend one of My Name is Byf's videos. He has an unabridged 10 hour one and a shorter one too (2-3 hours I believe) If you want to know anything about campaigns or missions or anything just ask me. I'm *decently knowledgeable.

3 RepliesYour best bet is to watch YouTube for a recap of the story, explaining it won’t do justice to the original Destiny game (D1) and the Red War (D2). Good stuff, grab a snack, kick back and enjoy.
