Cheating is getting out of control in PvP
Cheating on PC PvP feels worse than it has in a long time.
And I’m not talking about players with insanely good aim or people who are just better than me. I’m talking about obvious cases where the match starts, everyone spawns, and the entire team instantly gets blown up. You respawn and the exact same thing happens again.
Then there are players moving at ridiculous speeds, appearing out of nowhere and killing you through walls almost instantly.
At this point some matches are simply unplayable.
What makes it even more frustrating is that if I leave one of these completely broken matches, I get a 5 minute Quickplay suspension. So now legitimate players are being punished for leaving matches that are being ruined by cheaters.
Bungie, this is killing what little enjoyment is left in PvP.
Please do something with the anti-cheat, and remove the Quickplay leaving penalty. At the very least, legitimate players should not be punished because someone else decided to cheat.

We've got to accept that this is what Destiny is now. Bungie couldn't control the cheats and refused to carpet ban those who were obviously using underhanded tactics. It reminds me of my country at present where crime is out of control but even though the cops do their jobs and make arrests, they are given a warning and released, and because the jails are full of foreign criminals, dangerous offenders are being released early. If I play any crucible now, I just accept what's going on, and stay in the match, now matter how bad it is, just for the rewards. The fun and skill element doesn't exist any more.,

I just saw a player fly through the air from spawn to the other side instantaneous in PVE on Nessus, crazy stuff for sure. And he was not on a vehicle; it was like wow how did he do that! No sword either.

No wonder quickplay feels like a sweaty comp or trials These people cheat because they know they'll never get caught. Sad people need to feel good about themselves because of cheating on both pc and console lol

It's bad, was just in an Iron Banner Tribute match and was running a guy down and then it glitched, similar to lag, and then the entire opposing team was invincible. Reported them but not sure it does any good anymore.

Did see Iron Banner up, went into Tribue (never played it before), then 2 cheaters showed up throwing super abilities and heavy through walls around. Ended up with my game client crashing entirely. It's a shame what has become of PvP. I know Bungie stopped support for Destiny. But I am at this point convinced they should demand 30$ for entry into PvP for an account to discourage Cheaters by pricing alone. And yes, I am aware how greed ruined this game. Edit: Also for the record, Tribute is a -blam!- mode. 1 singular thing is causing a problem in design. That there's 2 neutral pillars instead of 2 moving team-assigned pillars, one for each team.

2 RepliesThere's a surprising number on console as well. There's close to 2 million in sakes for certain devices which your not allowed to name on here that doesn't include lag switching. P2P doesnt help either.

Im a pvp player. I hate cheaters. This game is dead and they aren't fixing or changing anything. pointless post. Ive had to cut back on pvp for this very reason. Its us shouting at a brick wall expecting change.

1 ReplySince D1 they have never cared. Always believing their anti cheat was pure perfection and we all just suck. Honestly in 14 years youd think SOMEONE over there would have learned something but then Marathon happened and we all knew they never will
