So I have tried basically everything to get this error to not show up anymore so I can actually play. Here's what I've tried (not in order)....
- Disabling VPN
- Changing static IP settings on Ethernet connections
- Adding port forwarding from modem (Xfinity)
- Reinstalled windows 11
- Unplug/replug modem for 60 seconds
- Disabling IPv6
- Flushing ghost Drivers via CMD
- Clearing Destiny 2 cache through "%appdata%"
- Tested connections on Wifi, Ethernet, Hotspot, and loaded the game through Steam and Epic
- Revoking all third party apps like DIM and signing out
- Turning off Advanced Security through the Xfinity website
It has been several days now and I am losing hope. I just wanted to jump back in Destiny 2 after about a year of not playing and now I gotta deal with this. The one thing that has been unfounded was that there are a bunch of notifications from old fireteam invites that I can't seem to delete and get a 500 internal error code. Other than that I'm super stumped. Please upvote for visibility.!
