Can anyone respond and explain in very simple terms the business based decision to continue to try to push Marathon over Destiny? Seriously, Marathon has 1/10 the active player count of Destiny currently just based off of steam charts (5pm 8/16/26).
My brain can't compute why the push to market Marathon rather than any form of Destiny's continuance simply based on the market numbers. Especially considering Marathon is already in what? Season 2?
How on earth do you think investors look at these number and say 'yup, I support those decisions'? Less/dwindling returns on my money for me long term? Ya, sign me up for that! /s
When a single company has 2 products and one of those products is outperforming the other on a scale of almost 10 to 1....and management still wants to push the 1% product as being our future and superior.....well, like I said at the beginning, can someone break it down and make it easy to me to understand because from my point of view currently, it's lunacy.

In very simple terms, Sony gave Destiny 4 years & it didn't meet their expectations. It would've been shut down regardless, so they didn't "choose" Marathon over Destiny. They're just giving Marathon a runway that'll likely be shorter than Destiny's was.
