I'm trying to link my steam account to my primary account (xbox), but when I go to the authorization page, it is forcing me to authorize an EpicGames account thats linked. Whenevr I hit the buttom to authorize, a seperate pop up window opens saying that theres an "Authentication Error" and wont let me procede so I cant link my steam. I have no progress on this Epic Account and dont care if it gets completely removed I never use it, I just want to link my steam.

You shouldn't need to authenticate anything else for that part. Secondly, rather than trying to authenticate the Epic account on the cross-save page, could you log out of Battle.net and log in with Epic Games instead? That should take you back into this account, and Epic Games will be automatically authenticated on the cross-save page. If it does not take you back into this account; if it takes you into another account or brings up a screen about making a new Bungie Account or linking an existing one, then it is not the correct Epic Games account and that'd be why authenticating the old one keeps failing.
