The same thing happens to me all the time. I developed a routine: run Sponsored kits until the vault is full. Then use weapons from the vault and lose many of them. Then resume running Sponsored kits. Bungie designed the system this way to balance the outcome. But they overlooked one important factor: the TTK for most weapons is too low. This is why so many new players leave. They get insta killed and give up shortly afterward. Giving players med kits and buffing weapons does not resolve the issue when the root cause is the low TTK. If the developers do not change their mindset, this game is not going to last for 5 seasons as planned.
