I'm experiencing what appears to be an account entitlement or progression issue.
My setup
Platform: Steam
Cross Save: Disabled
Destiny 2 App ID: 1085660
Playing through Steam Families using my father's shared library.
The issue
My account is permanently stuck in Trial Mode.
The game displays "Requires Full Version of Destiny 2" whenever I attempt to launch:
The Tower
Nessus
However, I can access:
Cosmodrome
EDZ
My New Light quest A Spark of Hope (Step 6/11) requires me to return to Ikora in the Tower, making progression impossible.
Verified game files.
Restarted Steam and PC.
Reinstalled/updated game.
Cross Save is disabled.
Created a brand-new character (same issue).
Steam correctly detects my shared DLC.
DLC is enabled in Steam.
Comparison test
To rule out an installation issue, I logged into my father's Steam account on the exact same PC and game installation.
His account:
Can access the Tower normally.
Does not receive the Trial Mode restriction.
My account:
Cannot access the Tower.
Cannot access Nessus.
Is blocked from completing New Light.
This strongly suggests the issue is account-specific rather than an installation or hardware problem.
Has anyone encountered this before, or is there a known entitlement/progression fix?

Hello there, Thank you very much for reaching out to us. I'm sorry to hear that you are having trouble continuing in the game. This generally occurs due to the game licence not being on your account. To resolve this, you'll need to add Destiny 2 to your account. Please note that content may not work consistently through Family Sharing.
