Cross Save activated incorrectly (Steam characters missing, Epic selected by mistake)
Hello Bungie team,
I accidentally activated Cross Save and selected my empty Epic Games account as the active account instead of my Steam account.
Steam account contains my real Destiny 2 characters and progression
Epic account was brand new with no characters
This happened approximately 30–60 minutes ago
I did not complete the tutorial or play any activities on the Epic character
My Steam characters now do not appear in-game on any platform
I believe Cross Save is currently pointing to the wrong account.
I am requesting assistance to restore or correct the Cross Save activation so my Steam characters become the active account again.

1 ReplyHello there, Thank you for reaching out to us. We understand you have lost access to your characters due to activating Cross Save with a different account than intended as the main one. Under the circumstances, you will need to disable Cross Save in order to access those characters. Please bear in mind that if you disable Cross Save, that there's a 90-day wait to re-enable the feature.
