Lag / performance issues since this Tuesday's update.
I lost like 20 fps on every destination I go.Reinstalled the game,updated drivers,cleared cache,verified file integrity...and nothing :p There're some people reporting the same issue on the DestinyTheGame reddit too.

Same I had multiple connections issue since Tuesday.

I've noticed in the Crucible sometimes when I get kills or I get killed, I get a small lag spike with my framerate. Definitely wasn't an issue prior to the update.

It's painfully obvious how bad it's gotten since the update.

I noticed that PvP was unplayable for me yesterday. Tried couple Control games and hit detection was acting really strange. No matter what gun I used it seemed that I couldnt hit or make damage. Then some opponents shot me from strange angles that I dont normally see. I also died delayed somehow strangely. There is also crazy amount of hand cannons now everywhere, it's gotten out of hand with them. Feels like you cant compete with other guns at all. This might be with some sandbox change or the lag is now so major that I cant play at evenings. Wtf is going on! -
Getting the same issue the last 2 days and been troubleshooting all day, no combination of gsync/vsync/frame limiter or graphics settings either in game or in Nvidia control panel is evening out my framerate. Fresh drivers, rolled back drivers. Even with the settings on everything Low i have the same frame rate as on Highest and its just constantly fluctuating. 100% some sort of issue with some configurations after Tuesday's patch.

I7 11800h Graphics card doesn’t matter as destiny is CPU bound But a LOT of us of medium range hardware have lost about 20/30fps in open world or scenarios with 4+ people. I’m scared to launch excision

Logged in just to check if I would notice it too, and I went sub 100 fps during an active Altars of Sorrow event with 4 engaged players. It never went that low before, frame rates are also yoyoing like crazy.

2 RepliesIts not just you. Usually get 200+ locked and have done for years. Since the update its a frame pacing issue- 130-240-120-240. Makes pvp unplayable. People in the lobby had it too. Pve has had a huge drop too, usually 240- now 140-180

I've experienced similar issues. The game has had frametime issues dating back to Beyond Light but ever since the 9.7.0.2 update it feels much more choppy even when running around empty patrol zones or solo instances. I keep my framerate capped at 90 and while the green in-game counter in the top right of my screen says 90 it feels like it's in the 60s. Could be a combination of wonky frametime or something related to G-Sync/Freesync. I'm starting to wonder if its the latter.

Working off my home WiFi gave me all these issues for some reason. I then hot spotted off my phone and all worked fine for the night 🤷♂️

This is really weird, as I'm rocking an i5-6600K Quad Core and have had no issues. Australia here.

I haven't noticed except some spikes on occasion but it's only during public events or distortions
